ECOgee was created to provide eco-friendly options for a more personal farewell.
Drawing on more than 35 years of experience in textile design and product development, ECOgee combines thoughtful design, functionality and environmental responsibility to create a contemporary alternative for burial and cremation.
The concept began with a simple question:
How can we create a truly eco-friendly vessel that is softer in appearance, more affordable, and offers opportunities for personalisation?
Over a 3-year period, the ECOgee vessel was developed through 12 prototypes, with input from industry specialists and design professionals.
The result is a strong, lightweight vessel designed to provide more opportunities for personalisation, participation and choice, allowing farewells to reflect the individual being honoured.
Designed to reduce freight and transportation costs while maintaining functionality and ease of handling, ECOgee offers an innovative and eco-friendly alternative for families, funeral professionals and communities.
Today, ECOgee continues to evolve through a commitment to innovation, environmental responsibility, creating positive change through thoughtful design, and the founder's belief that 'not one size fits all!'
